Abstract
The two dimensional tidal current mathematical model of curve coordinate was established for Tuhai River with bend channels, and the water intake and river branches were nested.Firstly, the model was verified with the measured data, and the calculated result of model was consistent with the measured data by parameter adjustment. Then the navigable design plan of channel from Fuguo Port to Dongfeng Port in Tuhai River was simulated. The tidal levels and velocities of representative reaches, such as berth, route adjustment, water intake and waiting tidal areas, were deeply analyzed. The results show that navigation channel is designed in good condition, and the design ship type can meet the navigation requirement.
