The comparison of clothing construction design between structuralism and deconstruction styles

Abstract
Structuralism and deconstruction styles play an important role in post-modern fashion,which have opposite design concepts.Combining draping and paper pattern making,some works are analyzed and compared,then it is concluded that there are distinguish differences in their starting points for construction design,setting internal construction lines,appearance,and function.However,they both emphasize on constructional sense.Deeply understand their essential difference on construction design can help in mastering the character of structuralism and deconstruction styles.
