Analysis of Receiver′s Dynamic Range

Abstract

The importance of receiver′s dynamic range is introduced.By analyzing various factors including RF fliter and amplier and so on those related to the dynamic range,a method of realizing wide dynamic range in receiver based on IF sampling technology is proposed,such as Automatic Gain Control(AGC) and band-pass Intermediate Frequency(IF)limiting.It points out the limitation of traditional technologies in increasing the dynamic range in wideband digital receiver.
