Efficacy Study on 5% Prevathon SC against Plutella xylostella

To researeh the efficacy of 5% prevathon SC against Plutella xylostrlla,the feild experiment was conducted.The results showed that 5% prevathon SC had good control to Plutella xylostella,especially 5% prevathon SC 1 000 times solution had the best control effect,on the 3 rd,7 th and 10th days after treatment,its control efficacies were 99.0%,97.4% and 94.9%;5% prevathon SC 1 500 times solution’s efficacy was the next-best,after 3 rd,7 th and 10 th days,its control efficacies were 95.5%,92.6% and 90.4%.The two insecticides’ effect were obviously higher than the others’.So 5% prevathon SC can be used as the preferred insecticide to control Plutella xylostella in Wujiang city.
