Abstract

Developing rural library is an important measure for improving farmers'cultural quality and promoting the civilization progress.And the responsibilities and obligations of the public library are to carry out the work of rural library,send the advanced culture to thousands of families,make the farmers enjoy the cultural interests brought about by the public cultural undertakings and make the contribution for the new rural construction and rural economic development.This paper introduces the present situation of the rural library,and puts forward the considerations about the construction of the rural library in the new period.
