Abstract
TK-2D software is used to set up tidal current and sediment mathematical models of the Oujiang estuary.By means of tidal current and sediment numerical simulations,elementary studies are carried out on the feasibility of four reclamation project schemes in Dongtouxia channel,and analyses and demonstration are made on their feasibility from the point of view of tidal current and sediment.The study results show that the four reclamation project schemes in Dongtouxia channel are all feasible,and those which preserve the existing channels and passages between islands are better schemes from the point of view of the influence on the surrounding sea area and sustainable utilization of resources.
