Abstract
The study was based on investigation and analysis into the eco-environmental characteristics of main reservoirs in Fujian Province.The stream-reservoir thematic maps were protracted with GIS software.The analysis of spatial distribution showed that reservoirs were mainly located in coastal regions,southeast of Fujian Province.Then the eutrophic state and main eutrophication causes of Shanzi,Dongzhang,Dongzhen,Shanmei,which were four typical drinking water supply reservoirs,were studied.All four reservoirs were,to various degrees,in the process eutrophication.And,non-point pollution,caused by agriculture runoff and the breeding livestock,were mainly blamed for such degredation.Some countermeasures to control the eutrophic conditions were put forward.
