Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the effects of the VEGF receptor inhibitor(SU5614) on lung inflammation in OVA induced mice asthma.METHODSUsing the OVA induced mice asthma,it was observe that the effects of SU5614 for total cells and leukocyte differential count in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid counted with a hemocytometer.RESULTSThe total cells, neutrophils and eosinophils were significantly increased in asthma model group mice comparing with control group model mice, but decreased in SU5614 group mice compared with asthma model group mice. The lung inflammation was significantly obvious in asthma model group mice, and abatement in SU5614 group mice compared with asthma model group mice by histopathology.CONCLUSIONAn VEGF receptor inhibitor,SU5614,may reduce lung inflammation in a OVA induced mice asthma.
