Analyzing the Taiwan Residents' Attitudes to the Chinese Culture

There are contradictory views on the Chinese culture because of the changes of the relationship of two sides and the influences of political struggles in the island itself.For instance,while the Kuo Min Tang(KMT) representing the pan-blue camp views the Taiwanese culture as part of Chinese culture,the Democratic Progressive Party(DPP) representing the pan-green camp regards that the Taiwanese culture has been beyond and includes the Chinese culture.The Pro-independence forces regard the Taiwanese culture as a new culture ignored the interactions of them.Others view that the culture identification differs from the political and national identification.In a word,both KMT and DPP share the self-characteristics and the superiority of the Taiwan culture but differ completely in the general consensus.
