Research progress of antifungal properties of propolis

Abstract
Propolis has attracted researchers'interests during the last two decades due to its versatile biological and pharmacological properties,such as immunomodulatory,antitumor,antimicrobial,anti-inflammatory,and antioxidant properties,especially its antifungal properties.In this review,efficacies of propolis against medical,foodborne and plant pathogans,major influencing factors,main active components and possible action mechanisms were summarized and the possible research tendency and its application were also discussed.
