Abstract
According to the traits and requirements of protocol conformance testing, especially the characteristic of BGP4+ protocol, the design of a conformance testing system for BGP4+ protocol is introduced. In our design, the environment of multiple virtual testers with controlling channel is used and TCL language is chosen as test case describing language. This conformance testing system gets both good testing ability and flexibility. The paper describes BGP4+ Protocol conformance Test design and implementation on the basis of BGP4+ protocol, and discusses the protocol test results for a FreeBSD platform.
