Abstract

The application of M-EMS in round bloom caster at Baotou Steel was introduced.The suitable parameters of the M-EMS are given by the industrial trails.The results show that the M-EMS obviously improved the quality of strands by ratio of equiaxial crystal and carbon segregation index.
