Abstract
Based on high gas gush and prone coal spontaneous combustion of 1215(3) mining face, the paper describes gob roof drainage technique of large mining height and fully mechanized mining face, boreholes of roof trend optimization, coupled with in-seam borehols, pipe laying on upper corner and so on to cotrol gas, moreover equalizing pressure ventilation, high speed advancing, gob grouting, nitrogen injection and so forth are used to prevent coal spontaneous combustion.During application of the measures, the average gas concentration of return air is less than 0.5% and the CO concentration is lower than 20PPm,which achieves security of mining. The results can be served as a reference for gas control and coal spontaneous combustion prevention of similar mine.
