Abstract
The effect of four kind emulsifying agents and their compositional formulation on the microemulsion polymerization of polyacrylate was researched. The results indicated that the compositional formulation of reactive emulsifying agen(tTS-02)and anionic emulsifying agen(tSDS)was the good emulsifying agent system. With increasing amount of emulsifying agent from 1% to 4%,the mean diameter of emulsion particle sizes decreased from 208 nm to 26 nm,viscosity increased,coagulation rate decreased . When the amount of emulsifying agent was too low,the microemulsion became unstable and the time of transformation to hydrogel was shortened.
