Abstract
Objective:To investigate the preventive efficacy on venous thromboembolism in patients undergoing hip or knee operation using low molecular heparin in combination with intermittent pneumatic compression. Method:90 cases with hip or knee joint peripheral fractures and artificial joint replacements who were admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into 2 groups,the cases in observation group were treated with low molecular heparin by subcutaneous injection and intermittent pneumatic compression to both lower limbs alternately after admission,cases in control group were only treated with low molecular heparin after operation,all patients were evaluated the clinical symptom of venous thromboembolism,examined by colour duplex ultrasonography of both lower limbs deep venous,recorded the volume of blood loss in perioperation. Result:The incidence rates of venous thromboembolism in lower limbs after operation in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group,the amourot of bleeding in obserration group is lower than the control group,and the differences both had statistical significance( P 0.05).Conclusion:Combined with low molecular heparin and intermittent pneumatic compression are effective to prevent the venous thromboembolism after hip or knee operation and which have preventive application value in perioperation of lower limb joints.
