Abstract
Organochlorine pesticides(OCPs)in sediments and sewage irrigated area soils from Urumqi Shuimohe river were determined by means of GC-ECD.The results showed that HCHs and DDTs content of sediments were in the range of 0.107—111.69ng·g~(-1) and 0.476—66.512ng·g~(-1).The content of OCPs in sediments were in the range of 0.583—178.202ng·g~(-1).The HCHs and DDTs content in soils were in the range of 0.194—6.974 ng·g~(-1) and 0.520—10.438ng·g~(-1),The content of OCPs in soils were in the range of 0.714—17.412ng·g~(-1),respectively.In sediments the ratio of HCHs alpha/gamma is approach 4 indicated the industry pollution has the certain contribution to Shuimohe river organochlorine pesticides pollution. The ratio of DDT/(DDE+DDD) in sediments and sewage irrigated area soils is relatively high indicated that the DDTs is persistent in the environment.
