Measurement and Comparison of Regional Urbanization Level in China

This paper constructs a set of comprehensive index which combines urbanization rate and the quality of urbanization to reflect the regional urbanization level in China.Entropy method is adopted to evaluate the regional comprehensive urbanization level scores.Then the clustering analysis method is adopted to sum up the characteristics of regional urbanization.On this basis,the paper puts forward that urbanization rate should be maintained coordinated with urbanization on the whole,and then advances the corresponding development strategies for the regional healthy and sustainable development of urbanization in China according to different regional urbanization stages and characteristics.
