Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical manifestations and pathogenesis of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia( MPP),and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: 290 cases of MPP in our hospital from January 2011to January 2013 were selected and divided into MPP group( 135 cases) and non MPP group( 155 cases) based on clinical manifestations, laboratory examination and imaging findings, the clinical data of the two groups were compared and analyzed retrospectively. Results: In MMP group, fever, cough, wheezing days were longer than those in non MMP group, the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05),cases of lung wet rales in MMP group were significant less than that in non MMP group, the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 01); the positive rates of all pathogenic examination items in MMP group were higher than those in non MMP group, the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05 or P 0. 01); IgA,IgM,IgG,C3,C4 levels had significant difference in the two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion: MPP children with fever, cough, wheezing for long periods of time, appear easily mixed with other pathogen infection,in clinical work, should pay special attention to prevention; the pathogenesis of MPP may be associated with humoral immunity.
