Abstract
The selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor has good anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect,and the adverse effects significantly diminish compared with non-selective NSAIDs.Therefore,it is widely used to treat the arthritic pain or other kinds of pain.In this paper, the clinical application and adverse drug reaction of such selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors as meloxicam,nimesulide,celecoxib and parecoxib were evaluated respectively.
