Abstract

The LFM pulse-compression radar has strong anti-jamming ability.This is mainly because the pulse-compression network strongly suppresses noises and common jamming signals.In this paper the working principle of the LFM pulse compression radar,and the principles of shift frequency jamming and convolution jamming are analyzed.The shift frequency jamming is a kind of deception jamming capable of giving both leading and lagging false targets.The convolution jamming is not only a deception jamming but also a blanket jamming,and needs merely small power.Combining these two kinds of jamming may get better effect.The high efficiency and practicability of the two kinds of jamming are proved through simulation.
