Abstract

Sexual arousal is an emotional state induced by stimulation of external(e.g.,visual,auditory,tactile) or internal(e.g.,fantasy) forces.Sexual arousal involves physiological,emotional and cognitive components.The physiological aspect of sexual arousal includes changes in cardiovascular function,respiration changes,and genital responses such as erection in men,and vasocongestion in women.This paper reviewed the latest literature and introduced the genital measurement of sexual arousal.
