Characteristics Research on Lower Permian System Hydrocarbon Source Rocks in Shigouyi Area

Comprehensively applying the organic petrology method,organic geochemical method and other methods,and taking the analysis data of underground dark mudstone as main sources,this paper researches and analyzes the hydrocarbon-generating features and depositional environment of the organic matters contained in Lower Permian System in Shigouyi Area on the western margin of the Ordos Basin.The research results show that that the dark mud-stones and coals in Taiyuan and Shanxi Formations are main hydrocarbon source rocks,most of the organic matters are typeⅢ,and the hydrocarbon source rocks in Early Permian have come into the maturity to higher maturity stage to some extent.
