Abstract

An stuady of the present condition of plankton on July,2002,in Taiping Lake A The result indicated: the plankton had 61 Genus, phytoplankton had 39 Genus, zooplankton had 22 Genus The number of phytoplankton was high, and that of zooplankton was low The biomass of phytoplankton was 33 91mg/L, Bacillariopllyta,Chlorophyta and Euglenophyta predominated; and the biomass of zooplankton was just 0 454 mg/L, predominating species was Rotaltoria The distribution of phytoplankton was different from that of zooplankton, the biomass of phytoplankton of upper and middle reaches was obviously higher than that of lower reaches, and the biomass of zooplankton was only high in the advanced position; the number of phytoplankton of upper level were evidently higher than that of lower level, was belong to the super nourishing type The phytoplankton elementary productivity of Taiping lake was 12 66g/m 2·d, the potential fish productivity was 211 63kg/hm 2 on the basis of plankton so the nutrimental condition of Taiping lake.
