Art Anthropology in China:History,Ideology,Fact and Method

Modern Chinese aesthetics focuses on the experience of the elites but neglects the abundant resources of folk art,mean while its disciplinary framework inherits the Western system.The new-style art anthropology aims to examine cross-cultural phenomena and to integrate aesthetics and art,elite and folk custom comprehensively throughout the world.Its core concept means that art is a way of cultural representation and the theoretical system of Chinese art anthropology,with Chinese themes,can be constructed by disclosing the truth of art anthropology at different levels.
