Abstract
The dry artificial insemination and micro water incubation method were used in this study, the embryos and larval development of Cymnocypris chilianensis were continuously observed. The results showed that the fertilized egg of Cymnocypris chilianensis was round in shape, most of them were yellow, demersal eggs. The average egg diameter was(2.44±0.04)mm after 42 min swelling. At water temperature of 12.0~14.0℃,fertilized eggs went through 25 developmental stages, hatching lasted 192h.The average length of newly hatched larvae was(8.2±0.05)mm.This test laied the foundation of large-scale artificial breeding of Cymnocypris chilianensis.
