Abstract

Eight toxicant baits, which were made of different insecticides and luring food, sugar, fish powder and milk powder, were tested in lab, houseflies could be lured and killed quickly by R8and R3 toxicant bait, the corrected mortality of houseflies was 99. 8% and 96. 0% in 23 hours respectively and after a week the corrected mortality keep 98. 8% and 97. 1%. The different dosages avermectins mixed with fish powder, sugar and milk powder to lure and kill houseflies, 0. 0027% avermectins was more than others, which the corrected mortality was 97. 1% in 23 hours. R3and R8pellet toxicant bait were made into tablet, the corrected mortality, 96. 6% and 96. 3%, respectively. The result showed that the effect of houseflies killing of pellet and tablet made no difference.
