Abstract
The treatment efficiencies of water with algae in four different processes including direct ultrafiltration,coagulation/ultrafiltration,powdered activated carbon(PAC)/ultrafiltration and PAC/coagulation/ultrafiltration and the operation performance of ultrafiltration membrane were investigated. The results show that turbidity is less than 0.2 NTU and algae are not detected in treated water of the four processes.PAC/coagulation/ultrafiltration process has the best removal efficiency of organic compounds, and the removal rates of UV254 and TOC are 32.99% and 46.72% respectively. This process can also remarkably relieve the fast decrease and poor restoration of membrane flux, which is caused by direct ultrafiltration.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
