Abstract

Using titanium sulfate and urea as raw materials,α-alumina microfiltration membrane was modified with titanium oxide by co-precipitation process. The influences of reactant concentration and coating times on the oil-water separation efficiency of the modified microfiltration membranes were studied systemically. The results show the permeation flux of the modified microfiltration membrane is increased.Specially, the permeation flux of the modified microfiltration membrane is increased more 25.23% and the emission standards time of the permeation is shortened for 45 min compare with that of the unmodified membrane, when titanium sulfate concentration is 0.2 mol·L-1 and the coating times is once.
