Thought and Application of Moxibustion Therapy

Moxibustion therapy is one of the three major therapies such as acupuncture,moxibustion and traditional Chinese medicine.However,moxibustion therapy is paid less attention in clinic.This literature aimed to revoke doctors of traditional Chinese medicine to think highly of moxibustion therapy,to enhance the application of moxibustion therapy,and to promote the clinical effect in the end.So this paper elucidates advantage of the actions of warming yang qi,warming and unobstructing qi and blood,warming channel and dispersing pathogenic cold.In addition,reviving yang and inhibiting yang escape,the advantage of getting striae of the skin,this paper also discuss the diseases that are effectly treated by moxibustion therapy,and demonstrates the characteristics and advangtages of moxibustion therapy in emergent severe cases,common disease,prevention and health care.
