Abstract
Objective To study the frequency and clinical significance of the regulatory T cells(Treg cells) in patients with aplastic anemia(AA).Methods The percentage of CD4+CD25+/ CD4+ T cells and CD4+ FOXP3+/CD4+T cells in peripheral blood were examined with flow cytometry in 20 patients with AA by the direct immunofluorescence test. The control group was 22 healthy people. Results The proportion of CD4 +FOXP3 +/CD4 + T cells in AA group was obviously lower than that in control group(P0.01);The proportion of CD4+CD25+ /CD4+T cells in the AA group was obviously lower than that in control group(P0.01).Conclusion The decrease of CD4+Treg cells is speculated to have association with impaired immune homeostasis and development of aplastic anemia.
