The influence of α-2macroglobulins to the osteoarthritis

Abstract

Osteoarthritis(OA) is a kind of non-Inflammatory disease which showing the articular cartilage degeneration and in the joint surface or the edge forming the new bones as its intrinsic characteristics.The occurrence and development related to many kinds of factors,but the family of matrix metalloproteinases(MMP) is responsible for the degeneration process of the extracellular matrix(ECM).α-2macroglobulins is a blood plasma proteinase inhibitor.The study show that the unbalances of the extracellular matrix MMP as well as its organization inhibitor are related to many kinds of pathology mechanisms.This article gave several kinds of factors related with the osteoarthritis and the influence of α-2macroglobulin to the joint matrix and the cartilage metabolism and itself mechanism,to explain the pathology process of α-2macroglobulin's participation to the osteoarthritis.
