Abstract
Objective To study the clinical value of probiotics intreating infantile diarrhea. Methods 80 cases of children with infantile diarrhea admitted to our hospital from August 2011 to September 2013 were randomly assigned to observation group and control group. The control group was given Smecta, the observation group was treated by probiotics, diarrhea and inflammation in the two groups were observed in children. Results The frequency of diarrhea and abdominal pain relief time in observation group was less than the control group, the level of inflammatory indexes IL-1, IL-6, C reactive protein were lower than the control group. Conclusion Probiotics treatment is helpful to control diarrhea symptoms, reduce inflammation reaction and it is an ideal therapy in treating infantile diarrhea.
