Agriculture Land Use/Land Cover Change of Xiannangou Watershed

Land use and land cover change（LUCC）is a hot spots all over the world.Study for agricultural land have more practical significance.The article analyzed the population,land areas and industrial development of 2001 to 2007 with change rate and dynamic change index method of Xiannangou watershed in Loess Hill and Gully Region.The research data shows that forest land and garden land increase 488 hm2,23.34 hm2;cultivated land and grassland decrease 87 hm2,25.7 hm2 during 7 years.For this following reasons,the policy of returning farmland to forest make forest land instead of slope farmland and grassland;a part of cultivated land transit to garden land in order to adapt market economy.At the same time,science technology also offers advance,guide and condition.
