Abstract

Based on the secondary development of Pro/E by means of the combination of Pro/Toolkit and VC++,it established the assembly oriented 3_D parametric standard parts database . The development method and skill is introduced and it is illustrated with an example of gear’s parametric assembly. The design efficiency is increased considerably. It is great useful for the secondary development of Pro/E and the popularization of parts standard technology.
