Exploration on Relation between Price Elasticity of Demand and Slope of Demand Curve

Abstract

Starting from the concept of price elasticity of demand, this study made a texbook review on relation between price elasticity of demand and slope, and developed a problem: what determines the price elasticity of demand of two demand curves drawn by same proportion? And is there any relevance between these two demand curves? This study explored a solution and obtained some interesting conclusions and deductions.
