Abstract
By using the symmetry of three-dimensional flow as the theoretical foundation, stokes stream function can be used to infer the relationship among the streamline, stream function and velocity potential. Then the author uses the result to design the arrangement of line sources and sinks in conjunction with a uniform flow. It is possible to yield an approximate solution to the flows for bodies of revolution.
