PREPARATION OF ELECTRODE PASTE WITH ANTHRACITE FROM XIAOFALU IN YUNNAN PROVINCE

Abstract

The electrode pastes were prepared with anthracite from Xiaofalu in Yunnan province as raw materials. Relationships between the true density, electric-resistivity and other physical characteristics of the anthracite with the calcination temperature were inspected systematically. The optimized formula and other technological conditions of the electrode paste production with anthracite from Xiaofalu in Yunnan province was established through the even designed experiments. Results indicate that the electric-resistivity of the calcined anthracite powder from Xiaofalu would reduce below to 500 μ Ω · m and its true density would increase up to 2.09 g/cm3,the properties of electrode paste produced from the obtained anthracite can achieve the national standard, which might give an experimental evidence for the anthracite in the application of the carbon society.
