Abstract
Nonlinear finite element analysis is carried out on expanded embankment under different working conditions with PLAXIS finite element software. It is known from analysis that the deadweight of expanded embankment will cause larger additional settlement and horizontal displacement on the original embankment.Subgrade modulus and soil mass have larger influence on embankment deformation.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
