Abstract

The effects of stocking density on the feeding, growth and muscle component in Siberia hybrid sturgeon in water pond were studied.Experiment lasted 80 d,respectively,in the initial stocking density:3.9kg/m,6.3kg/m,8.7kg/m,11.0kg/m with slight running water environment. The difference of mortality, daily food intake, food conversion ratio(FCR)and feeding rate between highdensity group(D group)and low density(A group)was significant(P0.05).In growth terms, final weight, specific growth rate(SGR),daily weight gain(DWG)were decreases with the increase of stocking density, but the final body length and coefficient of condition was no significant difference(P0.05).At the end of the experiment, moisture content and ash content in muscles of fish were increased, but crude protein content and crude lipid content in muscles showed a contrary trend, but there was no significant difference(P0.05).Suggested that the suitable stocking density of juveniles hybrid sturgeon was 6~9kg/m3.
