Sun Tzu's Adoption of the Military Thoughts in The Book of Changes

Abstract

Sun Tzu's great-great-grandfather,Chen Wenzi,was proficient in The Book of Changes,so Sun Tzu was able to learn it in his family.There were military practice guided by the military thoughts in The Book of Changes in Spring-Autumn Period.Some ideas in The Book of Changes were more definitely expounded and developed,which improved The Book of Changes was one of ideological resources of Military Science of Sun Tzu.Understanding Sun Tzu's inheritance and development of The Book of Changes,we will properly understand and employ Sun Tzu's military thoughts and maintain the peace in the world using military science of Sun Tzu.
