Abstract
In this study,W-10Cu/W-20Cu composite powders were fabricated by sol-spray drying and ball milling. The particle sizes and morphology of the composite powders were tested, the densification behave was studied. The results show that a new peak appeared after milling. After 20hours ball milling, particle sizes of W-10Cu/W-20Cu were 1.03and 1.15μm,respectively.The derivation of specific surface area ln[(Sm-S0)/(Sm-S)]and milling time t match linear relationship. When sintered directly at 1380℃after 20hmilling,W-10Cu/ W-20Cu composites had a uniform composition distribution and fine grain sizes, which approached to full density.
