Abstract
The spindle structure of milling head type machine tool is made up of multi-elements and complex bearing, thus the dynamic characteristics will be influenced. Dynamic characteristics simulation analysis on its virtual designed digital prototype is studied with finite element and modal synthesis analysis for identifying the weak components. The results are used to improve the machine tool's spindle design.
