Abstract
[Objective] The effects of different fertilization methods on the content of soil organic carbon(SOC) in farmland were studied,so as to provide scientific basis for the development of farm management measures in order to reduce carbon emissions.[Method] Changes of soil organic carbon(SOC) were analyzed for cropland at 37 long-term experimental sites in China, whose data was from the published papers.[Result] Under five treatments of control(CK),inorganic fertilizers(NPK),organic fertilizers(M),a combination of inorganic fertilizers(NPKM) and straw, and a combination of chemical and litters(NPKS),the proportion of samples for SOC increased were respectively 37.86%,89.96%,72.24%,97.87% and 94.43% for CK,M,NPK,NPK and NPKM.The increasing SOC content was significantly in positive correlation with time for different fertilizer treatments(P0.01).The initial value of SOC showed extremely significant positive correlation with SOC content and obviously or extremely significant negative correlation with increasing rate of SOC(P0.05,P0.01).[Conclusion] Application of inorganic fertilizers combined with organic manure could significantly increase the content of soil organic carbon, which helped to enhance soil nutrient supply storage capacity and maintain the balance of soil organic matter.
