The Necessity of Enhancing College Students' Music All-round Education in View of an Investigation into College Students in Xinjiang

It is an urgent task for colleges to cultivate high quality students,and the development of art education in colleges will have a direct effect on the success of it.Music education is commonly considered to be a major means of art education in colleges because of its particularity.This paper makes an investigation into music education of students of six colleges in Urumqi city.The investigation shows that the phenomenon is very popular that modern college students lack music knowledge and have a low level of music education.Therefore,this paper believes that it is of great urgency to develop and enhance music quality education in colleges.
