Abstract
Objective To evaluate the vision results of phacoemulsification and small incision non_phacoemulsification cataract extraction and IOL implantation. Methods The cases of senile cataract were divided into 2 groups. In group A(134 eyes),the patients accepted phacoemulsification and IOL implantation,In group B(96 eyes),the patients accepted small incision non_phacoemulsification cataract extraction and IOL implantation. Results The vision results had no significant statistical difference in the two groups. Conclusion Both of the small incision and phacoemulsification cataract surgery are safe and effective.
