Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of immune state on the levels of HBsAg and HBV DNA in the different clinical types of patients with chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection. Methods The peripheral blood was collected from the patients with chronic hepatitis B for the detection of serum interleukin(IL)-2,IL-10 and the markers of hepatitis B virus infecting by ELISA.CD4+ and CD8+ T-lymphocytes and the level of HBsAg as well as HBV DNA were detected in the patients with chronic severe hepatitis B.IL-2,IL-10,CD4+ T-lymphocytes were investigated by flow cytoanalysis model(EPICS XL),HBVDNA was examined by fluorescence quantitative-PCR technique. The index numbers of HBV DNA were conversed into constants by logarithm for the analysis of correlatons among them. Results There was no significant relationship between IL-2,IL-10,CD4+ and CD8+ T-lymphocytes with the level of HBsAg as well as HBV DNA in the patients with chronic severe hepatitis B or with cirrhosis(P0.05).The level of CD4+ T-lymphocytes was negatively correlated to that of HBV DNA(P0.01),but not HbsAg,in the patients with chronic hepatitis B.There was no significant relationship between the levels of IL-2,IL-10 and CD8+ T-lymphocytes with the levels of HbsAg and HBV DNA(P0.05).Conclusion The influence of immune state on the levels of HBsAg and HBV DNA is different in the different clinical types of patients with chronic HBV infection. The level of CD4+ T-lymphocytes is negatively correlated to that of HBV DNA in the patients with chronic hepatitis B indicating that CD4+ T-lymphocytes might inhibit the replication of HBV.
