FOUR NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS MYOSPILA OF THE MYDAEINAE(DIPTERA:MUSCIDAE)FROM CHINA

Four new species i.e.Myospila vernata sp.nov.;Myospila ateripraefemura sp.nov.;Myospila lautoides sp.nov.and Myospila emeishanensis sp.nov.belonging to Mydaeini of Mydaeinae is discribed and figured in the present paper;of these four type specimens,the former of three species are deposited in the Institute of plant physiology Ecology,Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Shanghai 200032 China;the latter of one species is deposited in the Medical Entomological Collection,Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology,Beijing,China.1.Myospila vernata sp.nov.(Figs.1～4) ♂:Body length 6.5mm.This new species is similar to Myospila breviscutella Xue et Kuang,1996,but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters:(1)basicosta yellow,but the latter black;(2)centre-line on dorsal surface of scutellum about as long as its scutellar sulcus,but the latter one shorter than scutellar sulcus markedly;(3)surstyli in male thin and slend which longer than cerci markedly in lateral view,but the latter thick and strong,about as long as one;(4)premargin on distal part of cerci without process in lateral view,but the latter with one. ♀:Unknown. Holotype ♂,Yaan(Mt.Zhougongshan,1 760m;29°58′N,102°59′E),Sichuan Prov.,21-Ⅳ-1987,Coll.by Feng Yan.2.Myospila ateripraefemura sp.nov.(Figs.5～8) ♂:Body length 5.0mm.This new species is similar to Myospila guangdonga Xue,1996,but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters:(1)mid and hind femora yellow,but the latter black;(2)lateral and ventral surfaces of scutellum yellow,but the latter black wholly;(3)distal part on inner margin of two pieces of cerci in male without densely hairs respectively in posterior view,but the latter with it;(4)curved in backward on distal part of surstyli in lateral view,but the latter straightly. ♀:Unknown. Holotype ♂,Mingshan(Mt.Mengdingshan,1 450 m;30°03′N,103°01′E),Sichuan Prov.,23-Ⅷ-2001,coll.by Feng Yan;Paratype 1♂,same as holotype.3.Myospila lautoides sp.nov.(Figs.9～16) ♂:Body length 6.0～9.0mm.This new species is similar to Myospila lauta(Stein,1918),but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters:(1)upper part of parafrontalia with one strong and long supraorbital bristle,but the latter without one;(2)on basal half with setulae at dorsal surface of r1 vein,but the latter with one on mid one-third;(3)squamae brownish-yellow,but the latter grey-white;(4)fore femur yellow in wholly,but the latter dark black on basal three-fourths or on dorsal surface;(5)abdomen of male without a pair in large fuscous of lateral spots on 3rd and 4th tergites,but the latter with one;(6)scutellum in female whole black,but the latter testaceus and hyaline on ventral surface. ♀:Body length 7.0～8.0mm.frons about one-third the head-width(0.285),anterior part slightly widen;interfrontalia black,without interfrontal bristle;ocellar triangle reaching the frontal premargin;four infraorbital setae in inward,two supraorbital setae in backward;a pair of sublongitudinal stripe on scutum not discontinue;ia 0+2;pollen on abdmenal dorsal thinly,5th tergite with deform spots only;mid tibia with four p setae;spermatheca 3. Holotype ♂,Yaan(Mt.Jinfengshan,860m;29°59′N,102°56′E),Sichuan Prov.,12-Ⅺ-1991,coll.by Feng Yan;paratypes:2♂♂,1♀,same as holotype;3♂♂ 16-Ⅺ-1993;1♂,1♀,24-Ⅺ-1993;1♂,02-Ⅻ-1993;2♂♂,10-Ⅻ-1993;1♂,03-Ⅰ-1994,above same locality holotype;1♂,Mingshan(Mt.Mengdingshan,1 450m;30°03′N,103°01′E),Sichuan Prov.,Ⅰ-Ⅺ-1989,above same collector as holotype.4.Myospila emeishanensis sp.nov.(Figs.17～20) ♂:Body length 8.0mm.This new species is similar to Myospila rufomarginata(Malloch,1925),but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters:(1)interfrontalia present,but the latter disappear;(2)prearea of metapleura bare,but the latter hairy;(3)distal part of surstyli in male is present embrace-like in posterior view,but the latter separation each other;(4)promargin of cerci with a process in thin piece-like in lateral view,but the latter without. ♀:Unknown.
