Abstract

The pathogenicities of 10 isolates of the entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae as biological control agent against adults of Tessaratoma papillosa were evaluated under the laboratory.Ma 01 isolate produced73.3% mortality at 1.0×10~7 conidia/ml 2 weeks after treatment.Field experiment was conducted against released bugs using a conidial suspension of Ma01(2.0×10~8conidia/ml)in the litchi orchard.Infectivity against T.paplillosa adults was high and mycosis were observed at 3 weeks after application.
