The inaugural address of American newly-elected president Obama is a masterpiece full of emotional words and deep political insight.The theory of intertexuality,as a new theory,emphasizes interaction and interrelation between one text and the others.The paper expounds the intertextuality characteristics of Obama's inaugural address based on the theory of intertextuality.
