A Study on Method of Assembly Sequence Planning for Assembly Simulation

Abstract

Assembly sequence planning is analyzed from point of view of assembly simulation.An assembly model based on level hierarchy connection relation ,which can describe the assembly relations and hierarchical structure among parts/components of mechanical product,is presented in this paper. Then the integration of assembly simulation and computer aided assembly sequences planning is realized using the above model.
